Orders are typically prepared within 1–2 business days. Processing time may be longer for customized, resized, engraved, or special-order jewellery.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Free Shipping

We offer complimentary standard shipping on orders over CAD $500 before taxes and after any discounts have been applied.

Greater Toronto Area Delivery

Eligible orders within the Greater Toronto Area may qualify for one-day delivery. Orders must be placed and confirmed before the applicable daily cut-off time.

One-day delivery is subject to product availability, payment confirmation, delivery location, weather conditions, and courier availability. Please contact us before ordering if your purchase is time-sensitive.

Estimated Delivery Times

Canada: approximately 2–7 business days

United States: approximately 4–10 business days

Europe: approximately 6–15 business days

Delivery times are estimates and begin after the order has been processed. Delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, holidays, or circumstances outside our control may occur.

Insured and Tracked Shipping

Eligible orders are shipped with tracking and insurance. A signature may be required upon delivery to help protect your purchase.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive and sign for the package when required.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges applied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

Delivery Address

Once an order has been shipped, we may not be able to change or redirect the delivery address.

Apply beauty products before wearing your jewellery and allow them to dry completely.

Cleaning Gold Jewellery

For routine cleaning:

1. Add a small amount of mild, fragrance-free soap to lukewarm water.
2. Soak the jewellery briefly.
3. Gently clean it using a very soft brush or lint-free cloth.
4. Rinse carefully with clean lukewarm water.
5. Dry completely with a soft cloth before storing.

Always clean jewellery over a closed or covered drain. Do not use toothpaste, baking soda, abrasive cloths, or harsh chemical cleaners.

Jewellery with Gemstones

Gemstones may require specialized care. Avoid soaking jewellery containing delicate, porous, treated, glued, or organic stones.

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth unless the product instructions recommend another method. If you are uncertain, contact us before cleaning the piece.

Proper Storage

Store each piece separately in its original box, a soft pouch, or a fabric-lined jewellery case.

Keep chains fastened and laid flat to help prevent tangling. Avoid placing multiple pieces together, as gold and gemstones may scratch one another.

Store jewellery in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures.

Chains, Clasps, and Settings

Delicate chains and fine settings should be handled carefully. Never pull a chain forcefully or wear it during activities where it may become caught or snagged.

Check clasps, links, prongs, and stone settings regularly. Stop wearing the piece and contact a qualified jeweller if anything feels loose or damaged.

Professional Maintenance

Depending on how frequently the jewellery is worn, periodic professional cleaning and inspection may be recommended.

Repairs, resizing, polishing, or alterations should only be performed by a qualified jewellery professional. Work completed by another jeweller may affect warranty eligibility.

Returns & Warranty

We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Javan Jewellery. Please review the following conditions before requesting a return, exchange, or warranty assessment.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return, the jewellery must be:

• Unworn and unused
• In its original condition
• Free from scratches, damage, alterations, or signs of wear
• Returned with its original packaging, tags, certificates, and accompanying items
• Supported by valid proof of purchase

All returned jewellery will be carefully inspected before approval.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, personalization, and product-integrity reasons, the following items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective:

• Earrings and pierced jewellery
• Custom-made or special-order jewellery
• Engraved or personalized pieces
• Resized or altered jewellery
• Gift cards
• Items marked as final sale
• Jewellery showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Starting a Return

Before sending an item back, contact us through the Contact Us page and include:

• Your full name
• Order number
• Item being returned
• Reason for the return
• Clear photographs when reporting damage or a defect

Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect, damaged, or confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.

Returns must be shipped using a tracked and insured service. Javan Jewellery is not responsible for return packages that are lost, damaged, or delivered to an incorrect address.

Original shipping charges, customs duties, brokerage fees, and import taxes are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Items that do not meet the return conditions may be declined and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Exchanges

Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, an approved return may be refunded to the original payment method.

Price differences and additional shipping charges may apply.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you receive an incorrect item or notice shipping damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the jewellery, packaging, and shipping box.

Six-Month Limited Warranty

Javan Jewellery provides a six-month limited warranty against confirmed manufacturing defects, beginning on the original delivery date.

The warranty may cover issues such as a defective clasp, faulty setting, or construction defect resulting from the original manufacturing process.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Scratches, dents, bending, or discolouration caused by use
• Broken or stretched chains caused by pulling or snagging
• Loss of jewellery or components
• Damage caused by impact, accidents, chemicals, moisture, improper storage, or misuse
• Repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by another jeweller
• Natural characteristics or variations in gemstones and materials

Warranty claims require inspection and approval. Depending on the assessment, an eligible item may be repaired, replaced, or otherwise resolved at our discretion.

Repairs Outside the Warranty

Repair services may be available for damage not covered by the warranty. Any applicable cost and estimated timeframe will be provided after the jewellery has been inspected.
